Customise and package business applications using scripting languages and develop small/medium size business applications, tools and interfaces. Qualifications, skills, and experience: University degree in computer science, information management or related field. Proven work experience in a technical department of a Financial Institution or software provider to Financial Institutions. Proven experience automating application rollout and support ideally with Findur. Excellent programming skills in one or more major globally recognised programming language and/or scripting language. Solid knowledge of tools such as Ansible, Kubernetes, Terraform, Powershell and Windows batch files. Good knowledge of financial instruments and/or financial messaging technologies. Good writing skills including the ability to write system and user documentation in English. Experienced working in an agile development environment. Solid understanding of source control management, and importance of automated testing and deployment. Good understanding of business processes related to trading, back office, records management, settlements or financial messaging. Qualifications, skills, and experience: Graduate degree or equivalent experience in computer science, or another IT-related technical field, with experience in software development or data engineering. Experience in working with economic and financial statistics (using data science tools). Knowledge and experience on working with SQL and will have familiarity with various databases.
