Finance Operations within ISAG Finance supports wholesale by securing an efficient and accurate payment and settlement process for suppliers and service providers, and compliant agreement administration. Job description The- Accounts Payable Accountant -secures IKEAs assets by ensuring that Food wholesale related invoices are controlled, authorized and paid on time. Your daily responsibilities will include: Verify and book in timely manner commercial goods supplier, transport and logistics service provider, indirect material and service invoices Authorize invoices according to purchase agreements, performing various controls and checks on invoices within given responsibility area Actively take responsibility and initiative to investigate and close deviations relating to the invoice control Ensure on-time payment by following up invoices in authorization and preparing invoices for payment- Act upon requests from suppliers and service providers (e.g. payment information, reconciliations) Ensure correct archiving of invoices Provide reports to stakeholders e.g. for audit purposes (i.e. Purchase operations) Support cooperation with main stakeholders Perform assignments or projects according to competence and business needs (e.g. , process updates, OSC project) Actively contribute to secure and increase the quality and efficiency throughout the process Qualification Good knowledge of invoicing, accounting, and payment processes Passion for driving continuous improvement and optimisation of processes with the right proactive approach Good knowledge of compliance and control requirements within accounts payable Good knowledge of supply chain operations in wholesale business Knowledge of MS Office programs e.g. how to create comparison tables, charts and word document templates Fluent-in English More Information The IKEA culture and values are crucial for our business and day to day work life. The Indirect Tax Team, belonging to Finance, is responsible for the management of indirect tax matters and compliance with indirect tax laws and environmental reporting rules and regulations. You will be joining the Indirect Tax Compliance Team. Our main goals are to secure that IKEA Supply AG and its subsidiaries are compliant with indirect tax laws, compliance obligations and to provide support to other supply chain units in indirect tax compliance matters. Job description About the job The main purpose is to secure indirect tax compliance by applying the working processes. You will be responsible for some countries assigned to you and ensure the preparation and correct and on time filing of all Indirect tax returns. This may cover IKEA entities which deal with furniture products and/or food products. You will also advise on indirect tax matters, support in audits and projects.
