IT Service Owner - Market Data Services in the region of Basel

In this role, you will oversee the full lifecycle of the firm's market-data platforms. You will ensure compliant licensing, cost-efficient data sourcing, and smooth service delivery to trading, risk, and analytics teams. The position requires a mix of operational execution, stakeholder management, and continuous optimisation of market-data services.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the firm's market-data platforms, ensuring reliable and compliant service operations
• Oversee licensing, contract administration, subscription management, and renewal cycles
• Identify cost-optimisation opportunities across sourcing, licensing, and data usage.
• Support budgeting and forecasting for market-data cost allocation
• Provide required reporting to exchanges and external data providers

You hold a completed commercial or IT-related education and bring several years of current, hands-on experience in market-data management or IT service operations within financial services. You demonstrate strong analytical thinking, stakeholder coordination abilities, and a reliable, structured working style.
 

Additionally:

• 5+ years of experience in market-data and service operations, licensing, and contract governance
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to coordinate across stakeholders
• Strong Microsoft Office skills; ITIL knowledge is an asset
• Ability to prioritise, recognise synergies, and work independently
• Fluent in English and German
• Valid Swiss work permit or EU/EFTA citizenship required Willingness to work 100% on-site
