| Department of Biomedical Engineering (DBE), University of Basel The Department of Biomedical Engineering (DBE) at the University of Basel is seeking a highly qualified and motivatedoperational headfor the CADENCE Core Facility . This position plays a central role as theinterface between the Department and the Core Facility, ensuring seamless coordination, strategic alignment, and high-quality service delivery to researchers and collaborators. About the CADENCE Core Facility The CADENCE Core Facility is a technology platform within the DBE that supports research in human movement, biomechanics, and neuromuscular function. It provides state-of-the-art instrumentation for motion capture, force measurement, wearable sensor technologies, and advanced data analysis. The facility enables researchers, clinicians, and industry partners to conduct high-precision assessments of human movement and performance, supporting projects ranging from fundamental biomechanics to clinical rehabilitation and device development. Your positionAs Operational Head, you will oversee the scientific, operational, and financial management of the CADENCE Core Facility. You will be employed by the DBE University of Basel and accountable to the Managing Director of the DBE. You will work closely with the Steering Group and the User Board of the Core Facility, including biomedical engineers, movement scientists, and clinicians, as well as with research personnel such as postdoctoral researchers and PhD candidates.Your key tasks include:
