Systems Testing Technician // Johnson & Johnson

Position Responsibilities

• Work closely with system engineering team to execute on test protocols for medical devices, report data, and generate test reports
• Document laboratory activities in established laboratory management systems
• Communicate test findings, technical challenges, and proposed resolutions to teams and senior engineers.
• Support various laboratory related activities (inventory and equipment management, general housekeeping)
• Collaborate with other engineers, technicians or other support personnel to assist in optimizing test methods and evaluate improvements to existing processes (quality and efficiency). 
• Can be assigned to additional non-project related activities as required.

 Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical, Biomedical, Systems Engineering or other applicable technical degree. 1-2+ years’ experience required
• Prior experience with medical device capital equipment is a plus, but not a must have
• Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical lab equipment (oscilloscopes, digital data acquisition system, digital multimeters, etc.) is a big plus
• Proficiency utilizing the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project etc.) is required. 
• Ability to review and critically assess testing documentation and other forms of laboratory documentation is preferred
• The candidate should have a demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks in an agile development environment, manage a varied workload, exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills and interface effectively with project teams, and management.
• German and English knowledge
