As Director, International Business Communications, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic communications across a diverse and fast-evolving International Business Unit, reaching over 220 million patients worldwide. Working at the heart of leadership decision-making, you will translate complex business priorities into compelling narratives, lead high-impact campaigns, and harness innovative approaches including artificial intelligence to elevate engagement, alignment, and performance across markets. This is a unique opportunity to partner closely with senior leaders, influence transformation, and help bring to life the International ambition through powerful storytelling and communication strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver strategic communications that align teams and strengthen a unified International business narrative
• Lead integrated communication campaigns supporting business priorities, transformation initiatives, and performance goals
• Translate complex strategies into clear, compelling narratives, editorial plans, and scalable content across markets
• Drive high-impact content programs, including International Ambition and Artificial Intelligence strategy initiatives
• Lead communications for major business moments and events, including flagship International engagements
• Partner with regional communication teams to co-create assets, share best practices, and enable local adaptation
• Collaborate with senior leaders to align executive, leadership, and business communications around shared priorities
• Use insights, analytics, and industry trends to optimize communication strategies and measure engagement impact

Essential Requirements

• Degree required; advanced degree preferred (Public Policy, International Relations, Political Science, Communications, or related field)
• Extensive experience in business or corporate communications, employee engagement, or change communications
• Proven expertise developing and delivering international communication strategies across multiple markets
• Strong experience partnering with senior executives, providing strategic counsel in complex, matrix organizations
• Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy into compelling narratives and high-impact content
• Expertise in change communications, employee engagement, and integrated communication campaigns
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to use insights and data to optimize communication strategies
• High level of business acumen, influencing skills, and ability to navigate complexity at senior levels
