The Vector Biology Group is inviting applications for a
PhD Position in Medical Entomology (100%)
Our research group investigates the biology, surveillance and control of insect vectors of human pathogens. We are offering a PhD position to study the behaviour and ecology of the invasive Asian tiger mosquito, Aedes albopictus, and to evaluate innovative, community-based control strategies – including large-scale adult mosquito trapping – in Basel, Switzerland, as part of a cluster-randomised controlled trial.
