Position Summary

The position holder is responsible for the financial accounting of one or more Jet Aviation entities in the Shared Services Accounting team within the Finance department. As a Senior Accountant you will perform your tasks in line with the organization-s vision and strategy. You will also be collaborating closely with other Finance departments to ensure that accounting is aligned and executed effectively.

Your Role

• Perform general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements, such as balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements, capital expenditure schedules and VAT declarations
• Perform the monthly, quarterly and year-end closing (US GAAP and Swiss OR)
• Prepare, record, analyze and report accounting transactions and ensure the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles
• Analyze and prepare statutory accounts and financial statements and reports
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders relating to all aspects of the work
• Support all kinds of internal and external audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
• Support other departmental tasks as deemed necessary
• Conduct or assist in the documentation of accounting projects
• Support team members in accounting issues

Your Profile

• Commercial accounting education
• 2-5 years of experience in a similar role within an international company
• Results-driven attitude - you execute with precision, accountability, and a customer centric mindset
• Fluent in English (oral and written), at least basic German skills, French is a plus
• Expertise in Swiss GAAP (OR) and US GAAP
• Proficient in MS office and SAP (R/3, S4)
• Team player
• Strong personal values corresponding with Jet Aviation values (Trust, Honesty, Alignment, Transparency)
