Position Summary Our Cabinet Shop designs and produces lightweight, high-end furniture that is both functional and beautiful. From hardwood moldings and exotic veneers to intricate inlays and complex 3D designs, our team master’s the fine art of woodworking and veneering. Because every detail matters to our VIP customers, much of our work is still done by hand. As a Cabinet CNC & Machine Operator, you will turn 3D models into exquisite, finished furniture, using a combination of advanced CNC technology and traditional craftsmanship. This is a night work position , following the below work pattern: 5 nights, Monday to Friday - 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM Your mission Manufacture complex 3D-shaped wooden parts, mouldings, and subassemblies using CNC machines and conventional tools. Operate CNC machines based on provided programs; collaborate with programmers to optimize processes and improve efficiency. Produce Corian® or similar countertops, as well as mock-ups and templates from engineering sketches. Perform complex repairs and modifications on wooden parts and equivalent materials. Assemble high-quality cabinet monuments and components in line with engineering drawings, safety, and quality standards. Train and support junior operators, sharing techniques and best practices. Contribute to continuous improvement projects, enhancing safety, cost efficiency, and cycle times. Work actively and collaboratively within the Cabinet Shop team. Participate in EH&S, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S activities. Perform occasional installation work in aircraft under supervision. Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and innovative intern to join our Data Management, Governance, Automation, and Artificial Intelligence team at Jet Aviation Basel Airport. Your Role Participate in the design, development, and deployment of internal AI and BI applications, focusing on both front-end and back-end components. Collaborate with IT and business teams to gather requirements, validate solution approaches, and ensure alignment with operational needs. Develop and integrate REST APIs, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange between systems. Support the implementation of Generative AI and Machine Learning models, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions. Contribute to database connectivity, data management, and integration with platforms such as Azure Synapse and Microsoft Fabric. Assist in the documentation and optimization of business processes, ensuring best practices in application development and data governance. Continuously improve usability, security, and performance of AI and BI solutions. Engage in cross-functional collaboration, learning from experienced professionals across technical and functional areas. Your Profile Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program in Computer Science or a related field at a university in Switzerland, France, Germany, or any EU country. Proficiency in Python and React JS; experience with REST API development and integration. Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Visual Studio Code, and modern application development practices. Knowledge of database management, SQL, and data connectivity; experience with Azure Synapse and Microsoft Fabric is a plus. Prior experience in application development, AI RAG solutions, or BI tools is highly valued. Naturally curious and eager to understand how things work; comfortable exploring unfamiliar topics and stepping out of your comfort zone. Solution-oriented mindset: persistent, proactive, and able to question assumptions and dig deeper when needed. Position Summary We are looking for a skilled Workshop Technician – Interior Shop Finishing to perform advanced-level repairs, repainting, and re-varnishing of furniture and components for delivery to our internal customers. This includes work on: Cabinets, credenzas, vanities, galleys, toilets, bulkheads, doors, décor, tables, seats, divans, showers, and other interior components. Monuments and other painted or varnished parts. The role requires a high level of precision, adherence to technical specifications, and the ability to meet quality standards within budget and timeline constraints. Your profile Various opportunities for professional and personal development Prepare items for sanding and painting/varnishing, including masking, applying filler, and sanding raw wood, varnished wood, and veneer. Apply stains and U.V. varnish to wood, veneer, and other components, performing repairs and polishing to a professional standard. Assist with the application of various varnishes and paints, following proper mixing ratios with minimal supervision. Operate and maintain spray booths, mixing areas, and handheld power tools (sanders, polishers) safely and efficiently, following 5S and housekeeping standards. Maintain traceability of all components, products, and parts according to JBSL processes. Adhere to Jet Aviation procedures, technical instructions, and aviation regulations. Perform minor paint and varnish touch-ups under supervision and report defects promptly. Adapt to new techniques, materials, and aircraft interior requirements. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace while following all safety and environmental regulations. Support continuous improvement initiatives and demonstrate a willingness to learn additional disciplines and skills. Take responsibility for the quality and timely completion of your work.
