About the Trainee Program
Join Omya’s Trainee Program within the Material Science Segment and kick‑start your career in a global B2B marketing environment. Over the course of 15 months, you will gain comprehensive exposure to minerals and specialty chemicals distribution while collaborating with cross‑functional teams in Marketing, Sales, Digital Services, and Technical Services.
The program is designed to give you broad international experience, hands‑on marketing skills, and deep insights into the technical and commercial sides of the raw material business for the polymer and construction industries.
Preferred start date: September 1st, 2026 (or earlier if candiate available).

Requirements

• Degree in Marketing & Communication or related fields
• Prior experience in B2B marketing communications, ideally in the industrial or chemical sector
• Beneficial experience in Adobe AEM (content management), Salesforce Marketing Cloud (email/newsletter), and Adobe InDesign / Canva (visual design). Such skills can be learned during the traineeship
• Ability to work both independently and within a multicultural, multilingual team
• Strong attention to detail, especially regarding technical accuracy and conceptual clarity
• Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally
